About
History
In March 2001, Greg went into town on a lazy Sunday morning to get himself a pie, and a newspaper. He came back with grand plans of starting his own business.
On that fateful Sunday morning, Greg happened to run into an old school friend, who was now a salesman for a handy little machine called a Dingo. After talking about the Dingo for a while, Greg was convinced.Six months later, on Sept 5th, 2001, Greg had his first job on his new dingo, boring a few small holes for a friend of his on Grace Cresent in Richmond Heights.
Since then, Gregs Dingo Services has gone from strength to strength. Having started with the basic Dingo attachment package of a bucket, post-hole borers, and a trencher, Greg rapidly expanded his collection, which now contains, among many others, a concrete breaker, rotary hoe and lawn roller, concrete mixer, and stump grinder. He has also added a small 900kg digger to his fleet, as well as another Dingo.
Greg has performed work all over Taupo, as well as going as far north as Hamilton, and as far south as Westport on the West Coast of the South Island! Its safe to say that Greg has worked on almost every street, road, or avenue in the Taupo area.
